Elegant and cosy design hotel in Barcelona’s city centre, a step away from Ramblas, Gothic Quarter and Gaudi’s most emblematic buildings, with all the modern comforts and a lovely rooftop pool and terrace with views over the city.

The hotel is located in Casa Fradera, an historic building dating from 1882, with the interiors restored in 2007 and where tradition and avant-garde coexist happily together.

Our attentive staff, elegant rooms with marble bathrooms and Wi-Fi in all areas and rooms, will all contribute to make your stay pleasant and comfortable.

Area information

Situated in Gran Vía, right in the centre of Barcelona, and very close to the most emblematic Gaudí's buildings, the mythical Ramblas and the Gothic quarter.

The closest metro station is Girona. Outside the hotel there is a taxi rank.

Also, the beautiful new beaches of Barcelona are just 4 metro stations away from the hotel (10 minutes). The airport is 15 minutes by car.

The situation was excellent and the pool very useful although quite small.

The only point about the hotel I did not like was the fact it smelt of tabacco and we had a no-smoking room.

Rooms were good size with air conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities.Front reception & bar area light and airy with helpful staff.Good location within 10 min walk from Catalunya.Small rooftop plunge pool & sauna with bar area - good for snacks and sensibly priced.

Occassionally hear and feel the underground. Slight smell of stale tobacco in corridors (not in the rooms though).

the staff was very friendly - also the location of the hotel is ideal. the room was nice and confortable.

we could not use the sound system - the sound was not good.

Location was perfect with restaurants and shops within easy walking
distance and also enjoyed a massage in my room which was fantastic

The room was beautiful and at the front of the hotel with double doors opening out onto a tree lined street. his was lovely to sit at in the evening and watch the world go by. The pool on the roof was an excellent way to cool down as we visited in August and it was very warm.

Nice hotel and cool rooftop bar/pool.

They did not offer an iron or ironing room. You had to get the laundry to iron. At 8euro a shirt, it was too expensive and had to go around with unironed clothes after the ironing bill started getting too high. You can also hear the trains underground.
